Foundations of Jewish Education
At Kane Street Kids, we are commitment to nurturing each child’s connection to Jewish life, learning, and community. Using the MATAN Katan® curriculum, children are introduced to the rhythms of Jewish tradition, holidays, and values in ways that are joyful, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.
Celebrating Holidays
Children learn about Jewish Holidays and their meanings. We celebrate Shabbat during snack time on Fridays with songs and expressions of gratitude.
Upholding Values
Our core principles are tzedek (justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), todah (gratitude), hesed (kindness), and kehilah (community). These values are are lived every day as children practice empathy, cooperation, and responsibility.

Hebrew Language Learning
Learning Hebrew is integrated to daily experiences, ranging from Shabbat blessing to every day words.
Engaging in movement and play, we use “Hebrew Through Movement” (עִבְרִית בִּתְנוּעָה) curriculum.
Building Community
Our program is enriched by regular visits from Kane Street clergy. These experiences help deepen a sense of connection to Jewish values. We create a nurturing foundation where children develop confidence, a love of learning, and a strong sense of Jewish identity.
Honoring Tradition
We are committed to understanding and honoring your family’s unique Jewish practices and traditions. We hope to provide a preschool experience that feels both personal and inclusive.
