Jewish Life and Learning

Growing Through Jewish Life

As the preschool of Kane Street Synagogue, Jewish life is woven naturally into each day at Kane Street Kids.

Using the MATAN Katan® curriculum, children explore Jewish tradition, holidays, values, and Hebrew language through joyful, developmentally appropriate experiences that inspire curiosity, belonging, and connection.

Whether a family is deeply rooted in Jewish practice or just beginning their journey, we strive to create an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and meaningful for all.

Celebrating Jewish Holidays

Throughout the year, children experience the rhythms of the Jewish calendar through stories, music, art, cooking, sensory experiences, and classroom celebrations.

Each Friday, classrooms celebrate Shabbat together with songs, blessings, challah, and grape juice, creating a joyful weekly tradition that children look forward to.

Hebrew Language

Learning Hebrew is integrated to daily experiences, ranging from Shabbat blessing to every day words.

Engaging in movement and play, we use “Hebrew Through Movement” (עִבְרִית בִּתְנוּעָה) program.

Honoring Every Family

We recognize that every family's Jewish journey is unique.

We are committed to learning about your family's traditions and creating a preschool experience that is personal, welcoming, and respectful of the many ways families celebrate and connect with Jewish life.
