About
Kane Street Kids is more than a preschool; it’s a warm, welcoming community where children and families feel a true sense of belonging from the very beginning. As the preschool of Kane Street Synagogue, we embrace families of all backgrounds and create an environment rooted in connection, respect, and joy. Here, each child is known, celebrated, and encouraged to explore the world with confidence and curiosity.

Where Little Learners Grow
We believe children thrive through discovery, connection, and joy. Our program supports the whole child in every way:
-
Socially: building friendships and learning to collaborate
-
Emotionally: developing confidence and self-awareness
-
Cognitively: asking questions and exploring ideas
-
Physically: moving, playing, and growing strong
We intentionally design each day to spark wonder, encourage independence, and nurture the skills that children need to become thoughtful and engaged learners. Our classrooms and gross motor play spaces are carefully curated to invite discovery, creativity, and meaningful play throughout every season.
Learning That Begins with Curiosity
We use Creative Curriculum®, a research-based approach that builds on children’s natural interests and transforms them into rich learning experiences.
Our educators observe children closely as they play and explore, using these observations to understand each child’s developmental stage, strengths, and emerging skills. Through Teaching Strategies GOLD®, our educators document and assess children’s growth across key developmental areas, allowing them to tailor experiences that meet each child exactly where they are.
